Times Online (UK) on July 4th, came out with a curious article – “British Islamists plot against Pakistan”. In that article it states:
British militants are pushing for the overthrow of the Pakistani state. Followers of the fundamentalist group Hizb ut-Tahrir have called for a “bloodless military coup” in Islamabad and the creation of the caliphate in which strict Islamic laws would be rigorously enforced.
At Lahore’s Superior College, where Muqeem has set up a Hizb ut-Tahrir student group, he said the organisation’s aim was to subject Muslim and western countries to Islamic rule under sharia law, “by force” if necessary.
In a caliphate, “every woman would have to cover up” and stoning to death for adultery and the chopping off of thieves’ hands would be the law, he said.
He added that Islamic rule would be spread through “indoctrination” and by “military means” if non-Muslim countries refused to bow to it. “Waging war” would be part of the caliphate’s foreign policy. One of Hizb ut-Tahrir’s strategies in Pakistan is to influence military officers, he revealed.
Shahzad Sheikh, a Pakistani recruit and the group’s official spokesman in Karachi, talked openly about persuading the army to instigate a “bloodless coup” against the present government who, he said, were “worse than the Taliban”.
“It is the military who hold the power (in Pakistan) and we are asking them to give their allegiance to Hizb ut-Tahrir,” he said. “I can’t explain to you in detail how we are trying to influence the military . . . We never disclose our methodology of change. You may say it’s a coup.”
In 2003 four army officers were arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of being linked to extremist groups, although the groups and men have not been named. A Hizb ut-Tahrir insider at the time claims they were recruited by the organisation’s “Pakistan team” while training at Sandhurst.”
I have been saying it ad nauseum that Hizb ut Tahrir is a UK run agency – much like Dobermann Pinschers on a leash kept in an idyllic British countryside castle, about to be unleashed by their UK masters as and when deemed necessary.

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT)
Hizb ut-Tahrir is a terrorist outfit, born, nurtured, and protected in Britain. Like the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka and the Mirpuri terrorists demanding independent Kashmir, Hizb ut-Tahrir is also controlled and used by Her Majesty’s Service (UK) to assassinate leaders and destabilize nations.
Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) is banned in Russia, Germany, and many other nations because of its terrorist activities. In Britain, from time to time, questions have been raised about its terrorist activities, but Prime Minister Tony Blair, earlier, and now Gordon Brown, made clear that HuT is to be given a free hand.
In fact, the British government was actively helping the HuT to overturn the German government’s banning of the party in 2003 because of its vicious anti-Jewish activities. According to the press release, HuT had recruited the services of Barristers Chambers, and the team includes Keir Starmer QC (Doughty Street Chambers) Matthew Ryder, Keiron Beal (both of Matrix Chambers) and Tayab Ali (McCormacks Solicitors).
The use of such legal methods, institutions, and persons close to the British government is unprecedented even in HuT’s history.
That was Blair’s role in keeping the killers alive and well. Then, on July 4, 2007, Tory Party chief David Cameron, in his first public exchange with Prime Minister Gordon Brown, launched an attack on the government for not having proscribed the Islamic movement Hizb ut-Tahrir. Brown said there was no evidence against the HuT. Then, Brown leaned on former Home Office Minister John Reid, who argued that there had been two reviews carried out by the government, following which, it had decided not to ban the group.
Brown has taken one step further. On Jan. 20, the news agency ANI reported that Brown had allocated £1 million to an anti-extremist group, the Quilliam Foundation. What is interesting to note, is that the Quillian Foundation chiefs, Ed Husain and Maajid Nawaz, were both former HuT leaders, who “now have seen the light”.
What Brown did is the classic British intelligence operation: set up a countergang and fund the original gang (HuT) by funding the countergang (Quilliam). HuT operates almost everywhere from Tajikistan to the Pankisi Gorge in Georgia, in the form of Quran-distributing, white-robed Islamists who “peacefully” preach elimination of all non-Muslims. Central Asia is chock full of terrorist outfits like the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), the East Turkestan Islamic Movement, and Chechen rebels, among others. In fact, most of the individuals recruited by these terrorist groups come from the Hizb ut-Tahrir.
The role of Hizb ut Tahrir in the BDR mutiny and attempted assassination of Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh will surely see the light of the day sooner than later. This is an interesting subject as the present government in Bangladesh is pro-India and has launched a strong terrorism eradication drive, much to the horror of Pakistan and now it seems to the detriment of UK interests too. I had touched upon the role of Pakistan's ISI in formenting the BDR crisis in Bangladesh - "BDR MUTINY IN BANGLADESH – AN ATTEMPT BY PAKISTAN TO ERASE THE 1971 GENOCIDE"
The underlying tone – India not to have a friendly borders in east (Bangladesh) and west (Pakistan). That is the sole UK (and of course to a large extent US & NATO too) interest now. Hence, continue seeing more such dallying with extremist elements by the West. Understand therefore, why UK stalled the move to the UN in declaring Maulana Masood Azhar as a terrorist.

Why is UK doing this?
Without getting into a long thesis – its all about money, honey and the dominance of global trade (oil, gas, steel etc) and banking that comes with it.
UK is bankrupt and its slide is imminent unless it arrests the rise of the colony it once ruled – India (and to some extent, China too) and try to rob its assets one way or other in order to prop up its own economy. Remember an earlier article, how the UK screwed the Chinese by opium cultivation in 19th century and that alone saved the UK economy. What is the current UK economic situation?
The Telegraph UK’s article on 20th Jan 2009: “Gordon Brown brings Britain to the edge of bankruptcy” states:
The country (UK) stands on the precipice. We are at risk of utter humiliation, of London becoming a Reykjavik on Thames and Britain going under. Thanks to the arrogance, hubristic strutting and serial incompetence of the Government and a group of bankers, the possibility of national bankruptcy is not unrealistic.
UK'S REAL DEBTIt is finally dawning on the Government that the liabilities of the British banks grew to be so vast in the boom years that they now eclipse the entire economy. Unfortunately, the Treasury is pledged to honour those liabilities because it has guaranteed not to let a British bank go down. RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) has liabilities of £1.8 trillion, three times annual UK government spending, against assets of £1.9 trillion. But after the events of the past year, I wager most taxpayers will believe the true picture is worse. Meanwhile, the assets are falling in value.
And they come piled on top of the rocketing national debt, charitably put at £630 billion, or 43 per cent of GDP. The true figure is much higher because the Government has used OFF-BALANCE SHEET accounting to hide commitments such as PFI projects.
Gordon Brown's nightmare, in which we are all trapped, is GOING TO GET MUCH WORSE.

This is a mess the UK is not going come out of, unless it unleashes havoc through its caged “dobermann pinschers” on the economies of the countries it once held sway over.
Winston Churchill resonates in their plans : Damn the brown natives (INDIA) and the yellow peasants (CHINA) – we whites know what is best for the world economy. Anyway these countries are ruled by thugs.
(Interesting side note: The worst Islamic uprising in China also happened very recently - and the Uighur Muslims are trained by "ex-ISI" elements so as to keep ISI safe and in line with Pak-China special relationship. And rouge ISI has had a history of collaboration with CIA and British intelligence)
But they also know – true wealth resides here and while we Indians forget that India paid for the UK / US war costs in World War I, UK & US have not.
See the events from a macro level and you will see uncanny similarities to happenings in history. Hence unleashing Hizbut Tahrir by UK onto the Indian subcontinent should be seen in that context. Destabilizing both Bangladesh and Pakistan fits into this agenda very well. And we all know that Pentagon and UK secret service love dealing with a single chain of command - in this case the Paksitan Army far more than a democratically elected government.
RECENT HISTORY: World War II reconstruction in Europe helped US come out of a great depression. During that time the US was largely unhurt and was able to quickly switch to an exporting country in order to provide new things to the countries as they were rebuilding. Lessons learnt : WAR REBUILDING HELPS EXPORTING COUNTRIES COME OUT OF DEPRESSION. And US and Europe are in the midst of a great depression AND much worse is to follow. The question therefore is - where should the NEXT WAR be - coz US & Europe will this time, do the rebuilding and come out of the depression. Certainly not in US and nor in Europe. Hence - hint hint :)
And funnily enough the salvo has come from Pakistan President A Zardari stating recently in DAWN(23rd June) : The West, most notably the United States, has been all too willing to dance with dictators in pursuit of perceived short-term goals,’ he wrote. ‘The litany of these policies and their consequences clutter the earth, from the Marcos regime in the Philippines, to the Shah in Iran, to Mohammed Ziaul Haq and Pervez Musharraf in Pakistan"
